Georgi Vangelov is a Partner at Entrea Capital and focuses on deal origination and overall management of execution processes across all industry sectors. Georgi has close to 15 years of M&A experience in mergers and acquisitions in Bulgaria and the Netherlands.

Before joining Entrea Capital in 2013, Georgi worked in Raiffeisen Investment since 2008, where he was involved in a number of transactions, advising both large corporates and PE funds and local and foreign investors. Key transactions which Georgi has completed include acquisition of TPP Maritsa East III from Enel, sale of Kloeckner local metal distribution subsidiary, sale of the largest digital media in Bulgaria, among others. Prior to Raiffeisen Investment, Georgi completed an internship at ABN AMRO, Amsterdam.

Georgi has also extensive experience with financial management of projects financed by EU and World Bank, acquired during his work with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry from 2002 till 2006.

Georgi holds an MBA from Amsterdam Business School and a MSc in Finance and BSc in Accounting and from University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Georgi is an active skier and snowboarder (former national team member) in the winter and likes doing all kinds of sports in the summer. He also loves travelling and photography.
